 Sorry I wasn't there last week. I actually wanted to see if things would fall apart without me. Sadly, Dr. Freud was right and my ego has gotten the best of me as things seemed to run smoothly. I received no phone calls or angry text messages about anything. Now, if I can only work on this Oedipus complex...well, it's not really an Oedipus complex if it's someone else's mother, right? Don't understand? Then put down the remote and pick up a book sometime. Watch out for the RIF truck...it will run you over.
Anyway, this is all just a bunch of filler because I have no idea what happened last week. See you on Wednesday.

 Next Saturday, Augie's is having their 11th annual Luau and pig roast. Proceeds go to Misericordia Heart of Mercy. The festivites go all afternoon and all night. The party features live music and dead pig. What more could you ask for?
You may have noticed that I am not hawking raffle tickets this year. However, they are for sale from the wait staff at the bar. Just because I am not selling them does not mean you don't have to buy them. Open up your wallets, you cheap bastards! With all that money you spend on food and booze, you could set aside a little something for the kids! That rainbow colored vomit that spews out of your mouths on Thursday mornings? Well, little Johnny can't even see colors. His vomit is always a boring shade of gray. All that cheering, screaming, and whining you all do on the court? Little Suzie wishes she could be that vocal about something, but she can't because she has no larynx.
You can help these and more children by purchasing raffle tickets. Or, you could continue to live in your own selfish little world...one in which you'll never know little Bobby's disappointment, because there is no prosthetic middle finger for him to flip you off with.
Tickets are $10.00. 1st Prize is $1500.00. 2nd Prize is $750.00. 3rd Prize is $500.00. We had a winner from our group last year, so it does happen. Ask anyone on the waitstaff about tickets and they'll hook you up. Will you be able to sleep tonight, or will your conscience eat away at you?
